The British Security Industry Association is a trade body covering UK security service providers and product manufacturers and suppliers with its membership encompassing 70% by revenue of the companies operating in this field.

The function of the BSIA is to create public awareness of the industry and keep its members informed about relevant news and regulations, to maintain and regulate standards and to encourage training and continuous professional development within the industry.
