Vemotion is set to attend the Milipol exhibition at the DECC – DOHA Qatar - from 31 October-2 November as it further builds on its global expansion strategy. The Thirsk based security specialist attended last year’s event for the first time, and received a great response from potential clients and business partners in the territory, making attending this year’s event a ‘must.’
Now in its 11th year, Milipol is regarded as the most influential trade exhibition in the security and surveillance sector, with Vemotion regularly attending events in both Qatar and France. Vemotion’s CEO, Stewart McCone says the Qatar event nicely complements Vemotion’s recent moves into further international territories.
“The name Milipol is synonymous with the security industry and needs no introduction. With each event we attend, we recognise just how important Milipol is, and we look forward to demonstrating our latest products and technological innovations to a very receptive audience,” said Stewart. “We have regularly Milipol France, but it was only last year that we attended the Qatar event for the first time. It was immediately obvious that Milipol Qatar would be vital component of our international expansion plans and will act as a catalyst to help us develop and maintain key relationships in the region.”
“It was clear from our Qatar experience last year, among others, that there is a genuine global market for our expertise. Our aim is to tap into this further in conjunction with our other international territory developments including Africa, France, Canada, USA and the Far East,” added Stewart. “Vemotion can be adapted to work anywhere, and by that we don’t just mean anywhere in the UK, but anywhere globally,” he concluded.
Vemotion is no stranger to international ventures, having working helped police and civil defence authorities make informed decisions using live video during everything from G20 Summits; D-Day Commemorations; the Premier League trophy presentation; the Tour De France; the 2014 Commonwealth games; and many more high profile and covert operations.
