Vandal resistance built into perimeter protection camera

Siqura : 02 September, 2016  (New Product)
Thermal imaging camera for perimeter protection and intruder detection now features vandal resistance and video analytics
Vandal resistance built into perimeter protection camera

Protecting the perimeter of a site becomes easier with Siqura TC620-PID cameras in place. This all-in-one thermal PID camera offers you the best in video analytics. Day and night, in any kind of weather. Built around a high-quality longwave infrared (LWIR) sensor, the TC620-PID gives reliable intrusion detection and man-overboard detection. Use it on its own or in combination with a central configuration server and or video management system.

Thermal cameras and conventional cameras are sensitive to different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Conventional cameras see light, whilst thermal cameras see heat. As a result, thermal cameras can detect objects in the dark, smoke, fog or dust. A further advantage is that thermal cameras do not raise false alarms that come down to shadows or glare.

Thanks to the TC620-PID onboard video analytics, intrusion detection and man-overboard detection are made easier. The camera’s powerful algorithm can detect a human body over long distances. A useful camera to have aboard any ship or guarding any large area.

For advanced detection and forensic search options, the camera can be connected to Siqura’s VCA configuration server. This allows users to store and retrieve relevant objects quickly and fine-tune the system’s PID configuration. Gathered information and configurations can then be uploaded to the camera.

The TC620-PID camera is fully compatible with other ONVIF Profile S-compatible security products. Next to that the camera’s IP66-rated, die-cast aluminium housing makes it incredibly vandal-resistant. Choose from a wide range of lenses that will capture any image clearly and accurately.
