IT infrastructure contract at the US Transportation Security Administration sees Unisys enter the fray after competitive field narrows
Unisys has been invited by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to re-enter the competition for its Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP) contract. In inviting Unisys back into the competition, TSA reversed a decision made in June narrowing the field of competitors.
Unisys was instrumental in creating and managing the IT infrastructure that enabled TSA to be mission-ready by November 2002. Since then, Unisys has supported the agency in its efforts to improve the protection of passengers and cargo at US airports.
