TimeSight Systems has announced the opening of a European office to cover the markets of Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The company also announced the appointment of Andy Nicholson as managing sales director for its EMEA operations.
"By expanding our operations in EMEA, we can manage the increasing demand for our VLM solutions and develop our sales and customer service capabilities at a local level,' said Charles Foley, CEO and Chairman of TimeSight Systems. "With the appointment of Andy, who brings field proven sales experience in the physical security and technology markets, we have established a strong foundation for growth."
Prior to joining TimeSight Systems, Nicholson previously managed several major physical security market international initiatives in positions at Telindus and Marconi BBRS, and most recently led the international sales at Steelbox. Nicholson successfully secured clients such as the New York City Transit Authority, the United Kingdom's National Road Transportation System and various major transportation infrastructure projects around the globe.
"This is a tremendous opportunity to introduce the innovative and cost effective TimeSight VLM video management and storage solutions to users, integrators and value-added resellers throughout EMEA," said Nicholson. "Security professionals in the region have shown strong interest in adding VLM solutions to their offerings to help their customers meet the increasing quality and retention requirements of today's video surveillance landscape. The incredible economic value makes it a compelling offering for our current and future users and partners."
