Product marking labels should be difficult to detach from the surface, no matter whether they're applied to aluminium, plastic or cardboard substrates. Closure seals have to clearly indicate that a product pack has been opened. Schreiner ProSecure continually tests materials and adhesives regarding their suitability for various substrates to ensure optimum achievement of these objectives. These tests have now resulted in a new product range.
Seal labels guarantee that confidential documents, high-grade technical equipment or branded products in original packaging securely reach their destinations. When the seal is peeled back in a tampering attempt the label as well as the packaging are visibly damaged due to the strong adhesive of the seal as well as a void effect—such as the word "void"—which appears on the surface when the seal is peeled back for the first time. This enables manufacturers to prove that the product marking or packaging was tampered with and puts them in a position to fend off unjustified warranty or liability claims. But substrates differ. For a paper envelope, a different seal is required than for a housing made of aluminum. A new suite of products from Schreiner ProSecure offers customers adhesives and materials to meet their specific requirements. The desired versions are also available for small orders to satisfy customer demands in a timely and flexible manner.
