v-GO SSO from Passlogix enables automatic and secure sign on using a single network logon |

Carahsoft Technology has announced the addition of Passlogix's v-GO Sign-on Platform to its GSA schedule. The agreement gives Carahsoft's public sector clients access to secure, best-of-breed enterprise single sign-on (ESSO) capabilities that eliminate the need for end users to create, remember, manage and update multiple application passwords.
v-GO SSO (Single Sign-On), the cornerstone of the v-GO platform, automatically and securely signs the user into any number of Windows, mainframe or Web applications after a single network logon without additional user-submitted identification or authentication. This reduces password-related security gaps, administrative overhead, user frustration and help desk costs. Six v-GO add-on products include modules that extend v-GO's single sign-on capabilities to any form of strong authentication or to kiosk environments, manage shared passwords within the ESSO infrastructure, and permit self-service reset of forgotten Windows passwords.
v-GO suite has sold more than 10 million licenses to both private and public sector organizations around the world, including the world's largest ESSO implementation with more than 200,000 users and 7,000 applications. Rapid wizard-based deployment enables implementation in months with minimal professional services.
