Security consultancy takes on new Commercial Director

Commercial Director at Comsec to focus on developing the EMEA market for consultancy business growth |

Comsec Consulting Global has announced the company's appointment of Robin Hollington as Commercial Director for the United Kingdom market. He will be driving the overall business strategy, sales and marketing for Comsec's growing enterprise services in the UK.

Hollington brings almost 10 years security advisory and business development experience to Comsec Consulting. Previously, Robin supported an e-security start-up business as Head of Business Development, prior to joining PeaPod, where he was responsible for growing their nascent Consulting Business. Robin spent six years in this role, where he more than quadrupled both the size of the business and its turnover.
Following PeaPod's merger with Global Secure Systems (GSS), a security consultancy and solution provider, Robin was appointed as Director of Consulting Services. In this role, Robin determinedly presented a new breed of consultants across PeaPod's and GSS's existing and prospect customer base, offering a focused approach to determine and solve its customers security issues. This approach led to the consulting practice growing by 40% and 97% respectively in the first two quarters of 2008.
Robin Hollington spent 20 years as a Royal Marines Officer. Whilst serving as a General List officer and completing his share of operational tours he completed a Degree in Systems and Management, a Postgraduate Degree in the Design of Information Systems, attended the RAF Staff Course and co-authored the Royal Navy's e-Business and the Tri-Service m-Business Strategies

Not many others can claim that level of knowledge and understanding."
Robin is a member of the Institute of Directors and the British Computer Society and is a Chartered IT Professional.
