KSW Microtec AG will once again be exhibiting at RFID Journal LIVE!'s 7th annual executive conference and exhibition, held in Orlando, USA on April 27th  29th, 2009.
At this year's show, KSW Microtec will highlight its solutions in the asset management sector, including its latest library and DVD inlays. This business segment is proving to be a growth area for the company, due to the market needs for security and efficiency in track and trace operations. Now, customers can capitalize on the design expertise of KSW Microtec's R&D teams and benefit from the short time to market for producing customized products to suit their specific requirements.
In addition, KSW Microtec will be communicating its expertise gained in recent years in the HF sector, with displays and demonstrations at RFID Journal Live!, of its VarioSens transponders.
VarioSens is the industry's first flexible temperature data logger offering fast, safe and transparent transfer of data. All ISO 15693 compliant readers can be used to configure the VarioSens label and read the logged temperature records. The VarioSens label can be used for temperature monitoring as well as for tracking and tracing perishables, pharmaceuticals and other temperature sensitive goods such as fine wines, exclusive foods, beverages and vaccines.
Meanwhile, KSW Microtec's Thinlam inlay, with a thickness down to 280µm, is setting new standards for card manufacturing with important projects in the government & security market already realized with Thinlam since its launch. It enables manufacturers to produce HF and UHF RFID cards with more layers, broadening the possibilities to integrate more security and other high value features into cards.
Thinlam maintains the highest durability thanks to its unique patented chip connection technology. In addition, due to the consistently reproducible antenna geometries, KSW Thinlam achieves tighter resonance frequency tolerances. Thinlam can be manufactured on PVC, Polycarbonate, PET or Teslin and can also be used for transparent RFID cards thanks to its excellent optical characteristics.
KSW Microtec looks forward to meeting its customers at the show and having the opportunity to talk firsthand about current and future projects and needs.
