|
Matrox Graphics
: 21 May, 2010 (New Product) |
|
Matrox Graphics is sponsoring a Honeywell User Symposium in Arizona with the company's Extio Remote Graphics Technology available in demonstrations |
|
Matrox Graphics is a contributing sponsor of the 2010 Honeywell Users Group Americas Symposium, to be held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort from June 13th-17th in Phoenix, Arizona. Matrox will be demonstrating Extio Remote Graphics technology and will be discussing the benefits and compromises of each of the market's four leading split-computing approaches including:
• Thin computing solutions for environments that require low power consumption, passive (fanless) cooling, and PCI bus interfaces
• Add-in graphics cards for passive KVM-Extenders and in algorithm-based extension over IP solutions
• Bus extension for graphics and USB devices
• Hardware/software compression-based technologies over IP
The event will take place on Sunday, June 13 - Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.
'Matrox invented and was first to market multi-monitor graphics supported from a single GPU and memory frame-buffer, and as such, was one of the earliest companies to be confronted with the challenges of split-computing at very large resolutions,' says Samuel Recine, Director of Sales - America and Asia Pacific, Matrox Graphics Inc. 'Over the years, Matrox has evolved a variety of technologies to address the market's various split-computing requirements and welcomes the opportunity to discuss these developments with OEMs, integration partners, channel partners, as well as corporate, industrial, and government end-users.'
