New recruit to provide inspection and approval support for security companies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. |
|
The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is delighted to announce the appointment of Joe Dorrian as its first Regional Inspector dedicated to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Joe's role will involve auditing NSI approved security systems installation and maintenance companies under the widely recognised and respected NACOSS Gold and Systems Silver schemes.
Joe has an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown and joins NSI from Belfast-based Flextronics, where he was Repair Operations Manager. His appointment will free up the time of several NSI Systems Inspectors who have covered Northern Ireland and the Republic in addition to their mainland portfolios. Joe will also assist the NSI Regional Inspector based in Scotland where necessary.
Commenting on the appointment, Andrew White, NSI Chief Executive, said: "The appointment of our first Regional Inspector dedicated to Northern Ireland and the Republic provides NSI approved companies in both markets with local inspection support, reflecting NSI's position as the leading third-party security systems certification body.
Joe Dorrian added: "It's a privilege to join such a strong, dedicated and respected team and I am looking forward to working with NSI approved companies in both Northern Ireland and the Republic helping to safeguard the highest standards in electronic security."
