Experienced financial expert joins BeCrypt board to oversee rapid global expansion of the company |

BeCrypt has appointed Jon Varney as Chief Financial Officer. Jon has broad experience within both FTSE 100 and AIM listed companies. He joins BeCrypt to head up operational functions including Finance, Human Resources, IT and Commercial and will be instrumental in supporting the company as it continues to build its overseas operations. BeCrypt currently has operations in the UK, US and Australia and is looking to expand throughout the EMEA and ASIA Pacific regions.
Before joining BeCrypt Jon was Finance Director and latterly Managing Director of AIM listed Conder Environmental plc, a major supplier of environmental wastewater systems. Prior to this Jon was Finance Director of Aerostructures Hamble, a £100m turnover Smiths Group company, where he was responsible for Finance, HR and IT. Before this Jon held a variety of senior management and finance positions in a number of manufacturing companies after his early career with ‘big four' accountancy practice Arthur Andersen & Co. Jon is a chartered accountant with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from Liverpool University.
