Mate Intelligent Video announces the appointment of Dr Uri Engelhard as its new Chief Executive Officer. Dr Engelhard will focus on strategically positioning the company through a well-defined and executed development plan that will ultimately deliver value for our customers.
Dr Engelhard brings extensive experience and knowledge of the security industry to Mate, and his appointment will lead the company forward in its next phase of development. Dr Engelhard served as a Brigadier General in the Israeli Police Force heading the Technologies Branch for 6 years, and was responsible for the information and computer systems, the electronic and technological processes, and the communication technologies.
Prior to his position with the Israeli Police Force, Dr Engelhard, who holds a PhD degree in Business Administration, held positions including Chairman, CEO, and Senior Manager at Israeli hi-tech companies such as Sapiens Israel, Amdocs and Tadiran Information Systems.
'Dr Engelhard is well respected in the industry,' said Adiv Baruch, Mate's Chairman, . 'His industry knowledge, coupled with his vision, expertise and drive will complement the Mate leadership team. He is the right man to take Mate forward as we accelerate the growth of the company.'
Incoming CEO Dr Uri Engelhard said: 'I have followed Mate Intelligent Video's recent development as an advisory board member, and have been impressed by what has been achieved. I am excited to join the company and am looking forward to contribute to its further expansion'.
