NAID Certification for Secure Destruction Services

Recall North America gains AAA certification from NAID for demonstrating high levels of information security in its data destruction services |
|
Recall North America has announced that its Secure Destruction Services have become North American AAA certified by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID).
"This certification illustrates the already stringent security measures we take at Recall," said Mark Wesley, President, Recall North America. "The fact that each of our Destruction Centers in the USA and Canada are now NAID certified demonstrates Recall's commitment to consistently providing the highest level of security to our customers."
NAID is the only widely accepted regulatory body in the document destruction industry. To gain this certification, Recall engaged in a lengthy initial audit process to prove the set of stringent requirements were met. Now this is completed, Recall must continue to pass both annual and random audits to retain its certification.
According to NAID Executive Director Bob Johnson, "It is gratifying when any secure destruction service becomes NAID certified. However, we do appreciate that the challenges to an organization with 50-plus locations requires a significant level of coordination and an especially high level of organizational discipline."
