Hospital safety and security to be improved at Baptist Heath using video analytic technology from Duos |
|
Baptist Health has awarded a substantial contract to Duos Technologies to deploy an intelligent video surveillance system in a high traffic public access area of one of its largest medical facilities.
The deployed system will combine traditional surveillance devices and an existing infrastructure security system based on Duos' current generation of the praesidium intelligent video platform to secure a high-risk area of the hospital campus. This system will meet Baptist Health's goal of ensuring the protection of physical and personal assets, and the safety of patients and visitors. Implementation of the project is a continuation of Baptist Health's transition to Video Analytics as a tool to achieve the hospitals safety and security objectives and will be a model for similar systems at other Baptist facilities.
This contract builds on an established relationship between Duos and Baptist Health and is part of the healthcare provider's commitment to Duos' intelligent security technology. Duos' systems enable the introduction of advanced Video Analytics features that improve public safety while streamlining security operations.
