South East Asian requirements for Secure Remote Management to be handled for Uplogix' new partner in Malaysia |

Uplogix has announced Rahmat Allied Sdn Bhd as its first partner in Malaysia and has already begun a number of projects including a feasibility study for a 3000 node installation within a major educational institution.
"Secure Remote Management is an area with a lot of potential for organisations across our region that want to reduce the cost and complexity of managing distributed IT infrastructure," explained Mr Mohd Syahnis Salleh, Director for Rahmat Allied SB. Mr Salleh believes that rapid expansion of IT infrastructure across Malaysia is hampered by the difficulties of managing remote sites where staff need to be dispatched from central locations to deal with even relatively simple issues.
"We have already delivered a business seminar to a number of major customers and are now in the process of piloting several projects including a proposal around the remote management of wireless hotspots for a large service provider and another large project for a major education institution," Mr Salleh continued.
Founded in 2001, Rahmat Allied Sdn Bhd (RASB) has become highly respected within the Malaysian IT community providing a range of services to high profile clients including Telekom Malaysia, Factories and several Government Agencies.
