Registration for SANS London Summer 2013 is about to close as demand for skilled, SANS-trained IT Security professionals continues to rise.
SANS London Summer takes place from 9th to 16th of July at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington and gives security professionals the opportunity to attend three of SANS’ essential 6-day courses and the excellent 2 day “Securing The Human” course.
One of SANS’ most popular classes returning to London this July is the Security 401: SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp. Led by Steve Sims, SEC401 teaches the language and underlying theory of computer security and covers all the essential up-to-the-minute knowledge and skills required for people responsible for securing systems and organisations. “I’m a newbie to security. This course presented a ton of information on this subject in a fast-paced, easy-to understand manner,” said Michael Horkan with Rockwell Automation after taking SEC401 at a SANS training event.
The full SANS Summer London 2013 training schedule is:
* SEC503: Intrusion Detection In-Depth with Johannes Ullrich, Ph.D.
* SEC542: Web App Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking with Dave Shackleford
* SEC401: SANS Security Essentials Bootcamp with Steve Sims
* MGT433: Securing The Human: Building and Deploying an Effective Security Awareness Program with Tim Harwood
“We added this additional London Summer training event in 2013 as a response to the sell-out SANS London 2012 event and we are pleased with the level of registrations received to date,” says Matt Anderson, Director, EMEA SANS Institute, “There are still seats available though and I encourage those interested in experiencing SANS’ unique, world-class training to register online as soon as possible.”
