Access Touch screen and EPC reader from Idesco Oy amongst the crowd-pulling RFID products displayed at the recent Skydd exhibition in Stockholm |
|
Idesco's presence at the Skydd Exhibition 2008 in Stockholm, Sweden saw attractive product innovations and new product launches. This included Access Touch, the elegant touch screen terminal which proved to be a crowd-puller at the show. This device is adaptable even to totally wireless systems and is a perfect tool for building innovative, scalable, cost-effective and creative applications with ease. With an in-built RFID module and a computer this innovative touch screen terminal provides the user with the possibility to flexibly collect and process identification data. Access Touch is a one of kind product in the market, and it can be used as an independent standalone unit without being connected to another system. It can also be connected wirelessly to Idesco's wireless readers and operate as a control unit of a totally wireless Idesco Cardea system which we also introduced in the show.
New product launches included the Idesco EPC reader for cost-effective vehicle identification or logistic installations and Idesco USB reader family, the series of elegant and compact sized USB readers for various easy-to-use applications, e.g. in vending, card programming, PC locking etc.
Pin code identification is a simple and reliable way to enhance the security level of different identification systems. Idesco offers several pin reader options with various technology alternatives to security-sensitive environments. Idesco has recently launched the Access Quattro Pin, a pin pad reader for electric socket installations. Idesco's product range includes also Access Pin Illuminatum readers with a lighted keypad. They are a user-friendly choice for environments without a light source.
Looking to the future, Idesco is constantly developing its reader ranges and is also providing the latest technologies with the latest security improvements. Idesco is developing new DESFire reader products which are going to be available during January 2009.
