Borderpol launches assistance program for governments to include operational border consultancy and training services |
|
Government agencies worldwide are under increasing pressure to deliver ever higher levels of border protection whilst implementing organisational efficiencies.
WBO - Borderpol believe there are many ways governments can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the way they evaluate, implement and monitor policy to deliver modern border security and migration screening services. At the same time, governments must strive to deliver these services more cost-effectively, providing the public with greater levels of answerability and simplicity and ensuring their activities are legally sound.
As a 'not-for-profit' fraternal association which became an international organization WBO - Borderpol is able to call upon the expertise of its membership from around the world to provide a wide range of consultancy services including operational oversight, on and off-site training and educational services.
Since formation the association and its members have been actively involved in a wide range of international operational border initiatives including Kosovo, Kazakhstan and educational programs in the United Kingdom in conjunction with Durham University. The representatives of Borderpol have also been invited to attend international meetings and conferences.
WBO - Borderpol services are designed to provide governments and international
governmental bodies with the expertise necessary to implement 'best practise' and to conform with the very highest international standards.
