Identity theft protection company receives $11 million in funding to open up markets for protecting US citizens from identity theft. |

iSekurity has secured an initial $11 million funding commitment from Equity 11, an independent, private equity firm. The funding commitment signifies the level of importance currently placed on identity theft and its critical impact on Americans today. Additional funding will be staged against the completion of corporate growth milestones.

This capital infusion allows us to scale our business for growth and ensure comprehensive coverage for our clients."

Funding for iSekurity has enabled the Washington, DC-headquartered company to recruit and employ more than 100 former federal agents from the Secret Service, FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service and other agencies to its ranks. In addition, iSekurity has built a robust, state-of-the-art emergency call centre and a proprietary technology system, Sekure Scan, which proactively monitors infiltration, manipulation and breach of an iSekurity member's personal information. This unique system enables iSekurity members to be vigilant and proactive in safeguarding personal information.
iSekurity offers customised plans for corporations (protecting customers and employees), affinity organizations and industry trade groups (protecting members) and the higher education market (protecting students, faculty and alumni). Additionally, iSekurity offers premium plans for individuals.
