Finjan is pleased to announce the appointment of John Charles as Vice President of North American Sales. John Charles is a highly experienced IT sales executive, and joins Finjan's management team with responsibility for Finjan's sales operations and channel network in the United States and Canada.
John Vigouroux, President and CEO of Finjan commented: "We are delighted to welcome John Charles to Finjan. This appointment reflects Finjan's emphasis on the US market, which is the largest geographic market for Finjan's products and technology and represents a major strategic opportunity. John Charles brings three decades of sales and management experience to Finjan, including 19 years in various sales management positions at IBM. He was most recently the National Sales Manager for enterprise sales within the Global Payments Technology section of Carreker Corporation - now part of Checkfree. Prior to joining Carreker, Mr. Charles served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales with Cranite Systems, a next generation secure messaging company. Before that, he was with Tumbleweed Communications, a leading provider of secure networking solutions, as a Major Account Executive with direct sales responsibility for 35 selected enterprise accounts, including major financial institutions.
