Employee travel monitoring system on display at Business Travel Show.

Anvil Group : 21 January, 2008  (New Product)
Business risk analyst and travel risk reduction specialists to demonstrate risk intelligence system for travellers at business travelling exhibition.
The Anvil Group is exhibiting at the Business Travel Show from the 5th through to 7th of February at Earls Court, London. On its stand 447, The Anvil Group will be launching a new version of its popular Travel Risk Intelligence System (TRIS) and will be demonstrating its Employee Travel Monitoring System (ETMS).

The Business Travel Show is the leading event for corporate travel managers, travel management companies (TMCs) and travel bookers. It is dedicated to providing independent advice, practical tips, information and learning opportunities of the latest technologies and services available for business travel booking and management.

Visitors to the stand can receive a comprehensive demonstration of The Anvil Group's new TRIS solution. TRIS is an Internet based application that monitors international incidents and potential threats, such as terrorism, weather and political instability. This provides travel managers and security personnel with round the clock, accurate and up-to-date information across every country in the world. TRIS can be used together with the ETMS solution to conduct an automatic 'threat vs. traveller' cross check, to provide a thorough risk assessment of any travel location.

ETMS empowers businesses and travel management companies with a Risk Management solution designed to provide alerts directly to travellers should an incident or threat occur. The system also enables businesses to fully comply with duty of care obligations, whilst adding to the overall value of the service that the travel management company provides.

The Anvil Group will be part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Showcase, where it will be advising corporations and TMCs to demonstrate duty of care to all travelling employees. In addition, it will highlight how the Corporate Manslaughter Bill will transform the role of security in travel planning and the increased care corporations need to show to all travelling assets.

"With the corporate manslaughter bill due in just three months time, it is imperative that corporations as well as corporate travel management companies ensure that they have a thorough travel- and crisis management plan in place," says The Anvil Group Director, Matthew Judge. "Technologies such as the ETMS and TRIS have been designed to provide businesses with tangible tools to form a solid basis for a Travel management policy as well as a means to respond to any crisis in a proactive manner, and to ensure that businesses and TMCs provide adequate duty of care to all travelling employees."

Visitors to stand 447 will be invited to enter a draw for a chance to win an annual individual subscription to TRIS.
