Following continued growth in its major export markets, TDSi has further strengthened its sales team by appointing Alan Hardy to the position of Business Development Manager (EMEA).
Alan has considerable experience working in overseas markets both in mainland Europe and the Middle East where he has worked for organisations including BMW and Deutsche Aerospace. Most recently, Alan worked with Wayfarer Transit Systems where he was responsible for securing major transportation projects in Kuwait, Sharjah, Qatar and Turkey for the company's cashless payment systems.
Commenting on Alan's appointment, John Davies, TDSi's Managing Director, said: "This is a key appointment for TDSi and I'm absolutely delighted that Alan has joined our team, bringing a wealth of experience to the organisation. In recent years we have seen significant developments in our export business; I'm confident that Alan will build on that success and deliver further growth in Europe the Middle East and Africa."
TDSi has launched a number of new products in the last twelve months including DIGIgarde and PALMgarde, the company's finger print and palm vein readers - products which Alan believes are of strategic importance: "These new biometric products provide a perfect complement to our established systems; and I'm looking forward to working extremely closely with our partners in these markets to develop total access control solutions to meet our clients' needs".
