Ex CAM AF series infra red camera from Hawk IR International meets safety requirements for use in hazardous areas involving risks of dust explosion.
Hawk IR International has announced its latest in ground-breaking infrared safety technology - the Ex CAM AF-Series Explosive Dust certified infrared camera. Based on a first-of-its-kind, patent-pending technology, the Ex CAM AF Series can detect potential failures within explosive atmospheres and be quickly and simply integrated into an existing CCTV System or installed as a standalone unit. Available in an autonomous mode with certified pan/tilt units, Ex CAM AF-Series can scan wide areas for autoignition temperatures to help proactively prevent explosive dust ignition.

Hawk IR's revolutionary Ex CAM AF-Series is necessarily designed tough and is maintenance free once installed. Constructed from Stainless Steel and using the revolutionary CLIRVU-Ex optic material, the Ex CAM AF-Series enables plant managers and process operators alike to thermally inspect equipment and plant areas within the explosive atmosphere realtime. Coupled with factory fitted & certified pan/tile modules, Ex CAM AF-Series is capable of scanning large areas remotely, the Ex CAM AF-Series delivers real-time, high resolution thermal images which can be displayed via existing CCTV interface for fast and simple information dissemination.
