Fiscal Technologies : 25 June, 2008  (New Product)
Duplicate Payment Finder reduces the risk of losses and fraud for users of accounts payable software
Fiscal Technologies has launched V3.0 of its specialist Accounts Payable software Duplicate Payment Finder at the CIPFA Conference. This was held at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on the 18-19th June 2008.

At the conference Fiscal had over 60 senior finance professionals attend the stand and request a free trial of Version 3. This version has significant new features that allow organisations to detect and prevent duplicate payments and improve their Accounts Payable controls. These include:.

* Management Information Module.
* 8 new instant reports.
* Reason analysis.
* New file storage features.
* Enhanced credit note checking.
* Improved import process.

Fiscal technologies have spent the last 5 years working with local government to ensure it offers an Accounts Payable tool that adds immediate value, is easy to use and is at a cost-effective price point. Over 20 public sector organisations currently using Duplicate Payment Finder.

Lesley Reeve, CTO of Fiscal Technologies states "we have added an array of enhancements and new features. This includes our new reporting module with reason code trending. Accounts Payable Managers will be able to stay informed of why duplicate payments are occurring and able to highlight for example worst offending vendors. The benefits of these will go straight to the organisation's bottom line as more duplicate payments are prevented"

"The response we have had at the conference has been very good and symptomatic of the increasing pressure that Finance professionals have on delivering more with less resources", said David Griffiths, Director of Customer Development of Fiscal Technologies. "We're giving Local Authorities the tools they need to recover costs, operate more efficiently and reduce their risk of errors and fraud."
