Launch of new web site provides Sugatsone Kogyo customers with the ability to specify hardware requirements on line and place orders. |

Sugatsune Kogyo (UK) has launched a new website providing details of the company's vast product range, as well as fast and secure online ordering facilities.
Simple and intuitive navigation enables users to rapidly view many of the company's 3500 plus products, which include assisted lift door stays/hinges; conventional, concealed and detent hinges; flush and conventional handles; latching systems; mechanical and magnetic catches; fasteners; casters; adjustable feet; drawer slides; locks; brackets and shelving systems. Many items are available in 304 and 316 grade stainless steel or titanium to withstand aggressive operating environments  such as those found in the food processing, marine, pharmaceutical and health care sectors. In addition, the company's renowned craftsmanship and attention to detail is reflected in the inherent reliability of its products and in the patented Lapcon damping technology on its soft opening/closing devices.
Online product selection is aided by the publication of detailed dimensioned drawings, performance data, material specification, finish, weight, box quantities and pricing information. Further web pages provide latest company news and a catalogue request facility.
Commenting on the development, Sugatsune director Mike Rogers said: "We are responding to the needs of our customers by enabling them to evaluate, select and order items around the clock, as well as request technical or product assistance if required. Our new website not only gives greater exposure to our products throughout the UK and Europe, it also serves to highlight the instant availability of the many popular items stocked at our Henley-on-Thames distribution centre."
Sugatsune's e-commerce facilities operate alongside the company's existing order processing and customer support services, which will continue to provide users with one-to-one advice on identifying the most appropriate products for their needs.
"The new website has been designed for fast and easy updating, enabling us to post information on new products, applications and latest developments straightaway," Rogers continues. "Traffic is growing steadily, along with the volume of business we are conducting online. I am therefore confident that the site will prove to be an important weapon in our marketing armoury for many years to come."
