IntegraScan's recently announced Safe Kids Program for background checking youth organization applicants has already identified someone with convictions of offences against children |

IntegraScan has released the results of background checks conducted by youth organizations participating in the IntegraScan Safe Kids Program. The startling results highlight the imperative need for greater security on the part of youth organizations and watchfulness on the part of parents and youth, alike.
According to sources, the $235,000 in free background checks given away to youth organizations in the past two weeks has resulted in the identification of at least one convicted rapist working with youth, as well as one person convicted of child abuse.
Other results include numerous persons with violent assault charges, drug charges and DWI charges within these organizations.
The frightening fact that these criminals were employed by, or volunteering in, youth organizations illustrates the incredible need for greater vigilance on the part of these organizations' management. However, due to dire economic impact, many organizations lack the funding to fully conduct these background checks or investigate criminal records.
IntegraScan has realized the paramount importance of providing youth organizations with access to these criminal records. The remarkable Safe Kids Program has garnered nationwide attention from youth organizations, government offices and parents, as well as providing these organizations with the assistance required to ensure the safety of the youth entrusted to their care.
In order to ensure that all youth involved in these organizations are provided with the safest environment possible, IntegraScan urges parents as well as management to become involved in the process of verifying the criminal past of anyone employed with or volunteering in these organizations. Parents are urged to contact youth organization management to determine their efforts in increasing the safety provided to children within the various programs.
Thanks to the efforts of this leading company, numerous threats have been removed; however, the potential number of sex offenders, violent offenders, drug and alcohol offenders and child abusers within these organizations is distressing.
