Camlock Systems : 17 March, 2008  (Company News)
Lock specialists, Camlock Systems is supporting the company's sales growth in Europe by launching a new multi-lingual website that has the entire content available in French, German, Italian, Spanish and English.
Camlock gears up to support European sales growth.
The new website features more than 2,000 web pages, 26 times more than Camlock's previous site, and features comprehensive information on the company's entire product range.

The site has been designed to be easy for users in three ways: identifying the products that best match their requirements, contacting the company, and an intuitive navigation system for moving around the site.

All levels of users are catered for, from the first-time buyer of industrial locks requiring guidance, through to experienced buyers and specifiers who require detailed information such as dimensions, key operations and materials used in manufacturing.

The site has a clean, uncluttered look and has been designed so that the web pages load quickly. Plans are already in place to add further content that will be useful to users. Also, Camlock aims to add further languages to the site.

And further evidence of the Camlock's continuing sales growth in European markets is the appointment of Torquil Mackintosh to the position of European Sales Executive. Mackintosh has extensive sales experience, is fluent in French and German, speaks conversational Italian and has travelled widely throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Mackintosh held positions spanning export sales, UK sales and technical project management during a 13 year spell with Dzus Fasteners, where he acquired a comprehensive knowledge of fasteners and locks. His most recent appointment was as Export Territory Manager for Loma Systems, the leader in food industry inspection systems, where he was responsible for a distributor network servicing a portfolio of blue chip customers.
