The Illustra 625 PTZ camera from Tyco Security Products has picked up the best camera award from IFSEC Global
Camera of the year award for Illustra PTZ

Tyco Security Products has announced that the Illustra 625 IP PTZ dome camera took top honours at the 2014 IFSEC Global Security Excellence Awards for best CCTV Camera Equipment of the Year.

Designed for applications where locating, tracking and zooming in on subject details are critical, the winning Illustra  PTZ dome is one of the fastest HD PTZ cameras in the industry today. The high performance camera delivers multiple, full-digital path 1080p/30ips video streams in H.264 and MJPEG resolution for crystal clear images. Based on latency testing standards used by the United States Air Force and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Illustra  camera delivers analogue-like precision with megapixel resolution, making it a standout in its class.

“The speed and ultra-low latency of the Illustra 625 HD PTZ allow security personnel to accurately track subjects in mission-critical applications, which can mean the difference between an organization’s success or failure,” said Julian Inman, Product Marketing Manager, EMEA, Video, Tyco Security Products. “Tyco Security Products is honoured to be recognized as the leading camera provider by the IFSEC Global Security Industry Awards 2014.”

The annual awards, handed out during a black-tie dinner on Thursday, 27th November at the Hilton Park Lane in London, recognize achievements in categories ranging from technologies like CCTV, access control and intrusion to integrated security projects and partnerships between private security companies and law enforcement. IFSEC Global Security Industry Awards 2014 was produced in association with the British Security Industry Association.
