Background checking service for US emergency service personnel.

US Investigations Services : 25 January, 2008  (New Product)
US Investigations offers a screening and vetting operation for emergency services and border control personnel in America.
USIS is launching a new service by the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the company's Investigative Services Division (ISD). The screening service is specifically designed for use by law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and emergency medical services for use in conducting thorough background investigations on employees.

"We can take advantage of our significant experience in background investigations and use the professional skills of our staff from a law enforcement background to offer new outsourcing options for the First Responder market," said Bill Mixon, president of ISD. "We have all the skills, experience, and staff we need to offer an outsourcing option that can save time and money for enforcement and emergency agencies."

The new First Responder product line offers four levels of investigations that range from pre-employment screening to a full ten-year background investigation. The four packages provide an attractive menu for agencies to select what level of investigation works best for their department and their budget.

The company currently conducts background investigations for small, mid-sized and large agencies including US Customs and Border Protection, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the New Mexico State Police and the Albuquerque Police Department.

USIS SIU capitalises on its experience and resources to create thorough and quality investigations that meet or exceed state regulations for the First Responder market. With more than 3,000 trained and security-cleared field investigators nationwide, the company can conduct comprehensive in-person interviews as well as out-of-state interviews at no additional cost to its clients.
