Vista's VK-C402CM hybrid video camera has been awarded Benchmark magazine's 'Recommended' status for its performance in offering both analogue and IP connectivity, and a high level of functionality. Benchmark is the only magazine in the security industry dedicated to establishing a performance index for electronic security products. Its elusive 'Recommended' status is awarded only to products achieving 8/10 or higher in its rigorous independent tests.
Using a 1/3 inch CCD sensor to achieve light sensitivity of 0.3 lux, the Vista VK-C402CM delivers resolution up to D1 quality (25ips at 720x576) or 540 TVL (on its BNC output). Allowing quick and easy set-up on both IP networks and standard composite video systems, the camera is supplied with VIP-Kit client viewing software.
Design and functionality is based on conventional analogue style cameras, affording installers instant familiarity with functions and set-up, easing any transition to IP integration.
'The Vista VK-C402CM's competitive pricing and outstanding performance combines to make a hard to beat package for today's CCTV installations', says Mark Pritchard, divisional director of Vista. 'We are very proud that our hard work in the design of this camera has been acknowledged with this highly respected and independent industry recognition.'
