Spend Less and Get More From IT Budgets

For home users, the range of freely available high quality IT security offerings is increasing steadily while for business users, spending is getting tougher despite demands becoming tighter

More free software is being offered by AVG, in this case the beta version of LiveKive which is free storage in the cloud for PC and mobile users to take the storage burden off the client device and stick it on secure servers in the cloud, a process referred to by AVG as "LiveKiving". Meanwhile, for business users, IT Governance is advocating wiser spending patterns under more constrained budgets in recognition of the fact that as purses are being squeezed ever tighter, the need for highly secure IT environments has not gone away and has in fact become much stronger.
