YouTube decoy hides Trojan.

Forcepoint : 08 June, 2007  (Technical Article)
A technique known as "tubing" dupes victims into viewing YouTube video whilst Trojan downloads.
Websense has discovered a new cimeware technique instigated by hackers that attempts to dupe users into viewing a YouTube's video.

However, what is really happening behind the scenes is that users are actually stumbling on to a YouTube 'decoy' where a Trojan horse (file called YouTube04567) is then downloaded on to user's PC. The payload code is an information stealing Trojan Horse which is designed to grab information from the user's PC. It then uploads any sensitive information from the user's PC to an undisclosed remote location.

Although Websense has captured this code on the web, it is highly likely that there are still email and/or instant messaging lures for this URL still lingering about in the 'wild'.
