American Science and Engineering has announced that the US Department of Defence has purchased three SmartCheck Personnel Screening Systems and a Gemini Parcel Inspection System to be used for checkpoint security at an overseas military base.
"We are proud to assist the US Department of Defence with an integrated solution for comprehensive screening at this strategic checkpoint," said Anthony Fabiano, President and CEO. "Gemini and SmartCheck together provide the most effective and comprehensive relocatable solution available for screening baggage and personnel to detect explosives threats and contraband."
