Wick Hill to distribute Finjan products in the UK

Finjan chooses Wick Hill to provide UK sales and support of its web security and virus protection products.
Finjan, a leader in secure web gateway products, today announced that it has appointed Wick Hill as a Primary Distributor in the UK.

Wick Hill has consistently proved its ability to create revenue for Finjan and to deliver true added value to its partners and customers. As a Primary Distributor Wick Hill will grow Finjan's business significantly in the UK by providing training, marketing activity and support that will take their value add to a totally new level, and in so doing provide a unique commercial opportunity for the channel.

According to Tim Warner Finjan's UK Country Manager "Wick Hill has proved that it is able to assist VARs in the intricate and complex area of Web Security without Finjan's direct involvement. Their staff have taken the time to truly understand how Finjan's technology is different from other web security solutions that claim to be proactive, but are not. Finjan web security appliances utilize patented real-time code inspection technology to deliver the most effective shield against web-borne threats. This technology allows Finjan to provide zero hour protection against any web attacks, whether unknown and known ( eg, spyware, phishing, Trojans, viruses, worms, and other malicious web-based attacks). I believe it is Wick Hill's depth of understanding, coupled with a "can-do and will-do" attitude that has created the consistent success we have witnessed with them. We are looking forward to assisting Wick Hill in executing their 2007 business plan to increase value to our joint partners in the UK, and see Wick Hill as an integral part of our channel development plans for the UK over the next 12 months."

Colwell added: "I can't speak highly enough of our Finjan account manager, who has given us tremendous support and been really pro-active. He's so enthusiastic about Finjan. He has done Finjan call-out days with us, he has trained our engineers, he's come to first line meetings with customers, he's done pre-sales with bigger customers accompanying us on sales visits, and he has fantastic product knowledge."

Darron Anley, managing director of Security Partnerships, commented: "I think Wick Hill will do well as a primary distributor.
