Voice recognition and recording specialist changes sales approach.

Fluency Voice Technology : 22 January, 2008  (Company News)
Fluency Voice Technology gets closer to its customers in recognition of the need for closer partnerships and consultation.
Fluency Voice Technology has announced a company reorganisation that puts speech specialists in its frontline sales teams to cater for the growing market demand for customised packaged speech solutions.

Fluency has continued to enjoy a growing demand for its packaged speech solutions both hosted and on-premise throughout 2007 but is increasingly engaging closely with customers who want to customise their applications to meet the specific needs of their business. This demand is very much in line with Fluency's product development strategy which will see the launch of VSA 5.0 later this quarter with its extended capability to act as a platform for custom add-ons that will require close knit customer partnerships.

In preparation for the new product release and in response to its customers demand for consultative speech expertise, Fluency has appointed David Johnson as VP EMEA, Services and Sales and Sam Waicberg as VP Americas, Services and Sales to lead Fluency's customer management and acquisition campaigns in their respective regions.

Philip Padfield is Fluency's CEO and explains, "As more organisations explore multi-modal self-service strategies they require high levels of speech expertise to examine the relevance of speech self service to their business. We've put in place sales and implementation processes that closely align with an organisation's investigative and evaluation processes, spearheaded by senior services professionals who can consult, advise and guide our customers to the best speech strategy for their businesses."

Fluency will shortly unveil its plans for Fluency VSA 5.0 which is targeted for launch at the end of March 2008. This new product version will feature extensive customisation capabilities to Fluency's packaged speech portfolio and will give customers unrivalled flexibility and choice in how to deploy speech strategies.
