VideoAppliance Now Available for Use With LenSec Web Based Video Management System
LenSec, a provider of enterprise-wide IP-based video surveillance solutions, has announced their video surveillance and management solutions are now certified and available as a combined solution on Intransa's VideoAppliance. LenSec's advanced video surveillance and management solutions allow authorized user access to any camera, at any facility, from any computer using only a standard Internet browser. The LenSec solution is capable of controlling thousands of surveillance servers and cameras from one intuitive map-based interface.

"Our philosophy at LenSec has been to design video surveillance systems that are an integral part of an overall security solution, providing instant access to all security system data, regardless of the source," said David Crawford, LenSec CEO.

LenSec's video surveillance solutions combined with Intransa VideoAppliance multiply the customer's ease of use exponentially. The Intransa VideoAppliance eliminates the complexity and cost of integrating commodity servers, storage and other hardware, delivering an installer-ready, simplified IP Surveillance solution with improved reliability and energy savings, a hallmark of LenSec's advanced surveillance and management solutions.

"LenSec and Intransa VideoAppliance customers now have a solution that provides a predictable performance environment and one that is installer ready and is video optimized for simplicity, improved reliability and energy savings," Crawford continued.

"The combined Intransa and LenSec offering provides security departments, integrators and installers the ability to install new IP Surveillance solutions, all without installation risk, and best of all they have the potential to reduce both cost and administration," said Bud Broomhead, Intransa CEO.

LenSec has long pioneered the use of open architecture design that integrates with all leading IP camera systems and encoders available on the market today as well as best of breed analytics, and access control solutions. Due to the open nature of the LenSec platform, customers have multiple options when it comes to selecting hardware components such as IP cameras, encoders, servers, switches and other edge devices. LenSec continues to advocate open standards and interoperability between software and hardware components from various manufacturers. LenSec is a member of the PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) and is continually working to implement these standards into its current and future product lines.
