Video Wall Optimisation Collaboration

Matrox Graphics : 17 June, 2011  (Company News)
Matrox and DTI have collaborated on the development of video wall solutions making use of VuWall software and MPX display controller boards
Matrox Graphics and DT International (DTI) extend their partnership by enabling new video wall controller solutions for the professional AV market. The DTI VuWall video wall application is now compatible with the high-performance Matrox Mura MPX display wall controller boards that are built on a PCI Express x16 Gen2 platform, and uniquely include up to four inputs and up to four outputs. With VuWall controlling the various video inputs and layout configurations, this alliance now makes it simple for AV professionals to affordably build easy-to-use, scalable solutions for corporate boardroom, digital signage, and control room environments.

Matrox will be showcasing the DTI VuWall software with Mura MPX Series display controller boards at InfoComm 2011 in Booth 4063, from June 15-17, 2011.

"The Matrox/DTI combination replaces complex display wall installations with simple-to-deploy, yet highly integrated solutions," says Helgi Sigurdsson, Product Manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. "AV integrators and system builders will appreciate sourcing single, HD capture and display—capable Mura solutions—versus two separate boards—that deliver unparalleled system performance and image quality, while installing a video wall software that conveniently helps manage the video wall platform."

DTI VuWall features:

* Control channels and layouts on a personal display wall with the VuWall toolbar

* Remotely launch layouts from a web browser via PC or handheld device—including an Apple iPhone or iPad — or with the virtual MousePad interface

* Creston touchpanel integration through the DTI remote software interface

* Compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
