Video search kit enables searches of inaccessible areas.

Allen Vanguard : 13 September, 2007  (New Product)
Allen-Vanguard's video search kit can be trolley mounted or attached to a telescopic pole for a range of access requirements
Global security specialist Allen-Vanguard is re-launching its Eagle Video Search Kit to enable detailed searches to be carried out both day and night.
The versatile Eagle kit contains a range of user-friendly components to provide a versatile search capability. Deployed in the same manner as a search mirror, the video camera allows the search technician to view normally inaccessible areas and record what is seen. The kit comprises a colour video camera, a flexible under vehicle trolley, and an LCD screen and a telescopic pole. Designed for tactical searches in a variety of sectors, such as law enforcement, customs and the military, it can easily be converted from a single-use tool to a multi-purpose search system.
The video camera features sensors that activate infra-red lights if it is too dark. At the same time, the camera automatically switches from colour to black and white, meaning that the system will produce top-quality images, whatever the conditions.
The under vehicle trolley has a low axis, allowing the camera to be used beneath smaller vehicles, as well as under aeroplane seats or office furniture.
In 'pole cam' mode, the camera is attached to a telescopic pole that extends up to 183cm, which makes it possible for out-of-reach places to be inspected. The kit can be changed to this mode quickly and easily, giving operators visual access over fences and walls, down alleyways and inside attics without placing themselves at risk.
"As it can be used by day or night, the Eagle Video Search Kit is indispensable for anyone requiring a detailed, close-up view of a suspect area," said Glyn Buckler, sales director of Allen-Vanguard. "It is also extremely adaptable and can be operated with minimal difficulty and danger."
