Variable height sensor barriers

Kaba Ltd : 12 May, 2009  (New Product)
Pedestrian access barriers with automatic sensing gains additional member with the introduction of the Argus HSB-S05 from Kaba
Variable height sensor barriers
The successful family of the half-height sensor barriers presents now a new additional unit with a very special design for high-end style requirements, the Argus HSB-S05. Like all units of the sensor barrier product family, it allows for swift and easy passage, without any contact with the swing panels. Its sophisticated sensor system provides - thanks to the number and arrangement of the sensors - a high safety level for pedestrian and at the same time surveillance of single file passage in both directions.

A major difference to the existing Kaba sensor barriers is - alongside with the design - the height of the unit, which is available in different sizes up to 1400 mm for the swing panels and 1445 mm for the side elements.

Thanks to its clear design the unit harmonises perfectly in modern foyer areas. Its rectangular stainless steel frame is fully glazed with frosted glass and can optionally be equipped with inside light for a particularly eye-catching finish. This sensor barrier is particularly suitable for prestige entrances of banks, head offices or government buildings.

The sensor barrier can be interfaced to all commercially available card readers systems, which can be either integrated in the housing or installed in a stand alone column. The opening of the unit is activated by means of cards or chips - and soon also by the new Kaba technology TouchGo, an innovation in the world of contactless access control to enhance convenience.
