Valley Forge human screening systems to be demonstrated.

Valley Forge Composite Technologies : 10 January, 2008  (New Product)
Both metallic and non-metallic items can be screened in a single scan with Valley Forge ODIN-ULDRIS human screening systems.
Valley Forge Composite Technologies has announced that the first United States model of its personnel screening system is on-site and is being prepared for demonstration. ODIN-ULDRIS Personnel Screening System is being offered by Valley Forge subsidiary Valley Forge Imaging as the answer to today's personnel screening concerns. This system may be used in any market requiring personnel screening such as schools, government buildings, sporting events and passenger terminals. It allows screeners to detect items such as explosives, weapons, narcotics, gemstones, bundled currency and ingested items at a rate of approximately 700 persons per hour. Unlike current Backscatter x-ray systems, ODIN-ULDRIS requires only one scan per person and detects metallic and non-metallic contraband. The ODIN-ULDRIS system does not require persons to remove shoes, coats or personal belongings before entering the screening panel.

Demonstrations will initially be scheduled for federal and local law enforcement agencies. Other prospects include homeland security, port security, public transportation sectors, military and medical communities.

Valley Forge Composite Technologies, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries are developers, manufacturers and worldwide distributors of next-generation detection and aerospace systems. Valley Forge Detection Systems. is developing THOR LVX, an Advanced Explosives Detection System capable of penetrating all shielding to detect and identify explosives, nuclear material, narcotics and chemical and biological agents. It uses photonuclear gamma ray technology to identify substances at the molecular level. Expected markets include airports, seaports, cargo terminals and border crossings.

Valley Forge Imaging offers the ODIN-ULDRIS Personnel Screening System. Valley Forge Aerospace brings cutting-edge components and customised solutions to the aerospace industry. Valley Forge Emerging Technologies exists to develop and commercialise other unique and innovative technologies.
