US VMS sales team bolstered at Salient

Supplier of Video Management Software recruits two new senior members to its sales team covering the United States


Salient Systems, a provider of advanced, network friendly video management software solutions, announces the addition of Tom Chamard as Director of Sales - Northeast and Jim Memmesheimer – Business Development A&E Specialist. Mr Chamard will be responsible for northeast regional integrator recruitment and sales, and the development of strategic accounts. Mr Memmesheimer will be responsible for implementing Salient’s A&E Program, providing tools, knowledge and service to industry consultants and security system architects and engineers. “Tom and Jim bring outstanding experience to the Salient team and complete our strategy to hire the ‘best and the brightest’ in the industry. Their combined knowledge of access control, video management systems, software integration, national account management and business development enhances our existing team’s experience and we look forward to the rapid expansion of Salient’s products in the marketplace,†says Bob Wilbur, CEO of Salient Systems. Mr Chamard recently served as Senior Manager, National Accounts-North America for Tyco Safety Products where he was responsible for national integrators and deployments into Fortune 500 accounts. In his capacity as Senior Manager, he also served as corporate liaison between Software House and American Dynamics. Prior to his years with Tyco, Mr Chamard served as Director of Sales and National Accounts for Honeywell Integrated Systems. Mr Memmesheimer recently served as Regional Sales Manager for Automatic Systems Inc., with responsibility for new territory development through security integrators and A&E’s. His extensive experience with Red Hawk and Video Master included expanding market share and developing security integrators. He has over 23 years of direct sales and marketing experience in the security industry.
