Tri-S Security : 09 January, 2008  (Application Story)
Tri-S Security subsidiary to provide armed guarding services for government facilities in the US state of Georgia.
Tri-S Security has announced its wholly-owned subsidiary, Paragon Systems was awarded on December 31, 2007 a new contract with the US Department of Homeland Security, for the State of Georgia, for $58.0 million. Paragon will begin the contract April 1, 2008 and the contract will run for five years at an estimated $11.6 million per year.

Paragon will provide security for federal government facilities throughout the state of Georgia. Over 250 armed security guards will be deployed throughout the state. This award increases the total awards for Paragon to more than $146.2 million for the year ending December 31, 2007, surpassing its 2006 contract awards of $72.7 million by an increase of 101%.

"Not only does this contract continue to show the federal government's confidence in Paragon but also now provides the Company with a larger footprint across the Southeastern United States," said Ronald Farrell, CEO, Tri-S Security Corp. "Paragon won new contracts in all four quarters of 2007 and as our pipeline of new contract bids continues to grow, we hope to continue this trend in 2008," said Mr Farrell.
