JS Wright, a UK building services provider has implemented its Site Roster Control solution to enable accurate monitoring, reporting and management of its employees’ and subcontractors’ working hours.
JS Wright is using eight handheld devices to capture biometric data at point of site entry and exit across eight different locations. The data is managed securely in the cloud, where it can be accessed from anywhere and at any time via Simeio’s web portal. It makes the payroll process much faster and more accurate by building definitive reports detailing all workers’ actual hours on a single site or at multiple locations. The data can be used to populate timesheets automatically, and create customised reports to display live information – including hours logged, absences, qualifications and lateness, sorted by individual, team, contractor or site.
“We became aware that some of our operatives were not completing their set hours so were looking for a time and attendance solution that would help us to better manage people on site,” says Paul Millington, Contracts Support Manager, JS Wright. “We now have access to real-time information on time and attendance and site rosters. Simeio’s Site Roster Control provides a flexible platform enabling users to gather large amounts of accurate time and attendance data across multiple sites. Operatives can simply touch in and out when entering and exiting a site using the fingerprint reader on handheld devices. The data is then transmitted over the mobile network and stored securely in a central database. Simeio’s solution is also helping JS Wright with health and safety audit. Before an operative puts their finger on the reader, they have to go through a screen confirming that they have all of their personnel protective equipment (PPE).
