Tufin adds new executives to enhance regional coverage in Europe

Tufin Technologies : 17 March, 2009  (Company News)
Tufin Technologies is adding David Aminzade as Regional Director for Northern Europe and Calum MacLeod as Regional Manager for Benelux, France, and South Africa.
With deep roots in their respective regions and more than 60 years of combined sales and operations experience, Aminzade and MacLeod will extend Tufin's already substantial competitive advantage in Europe. Tufin's ongoing ability to attract top performers aligns with its high customer satisfaction ratings, market leading position and growing stature as the thought and technology leader of the rapidly emerging Security Lifecycle Management market.

"David and Calum are both incredibly skilled professionals that understand the culture of their respective regions when it comes to security, the economy, and how to cultivate successful relationships," said Ruvi Kitov, CEO of Tufin Technologies. "EMEA is a lucrative market for us, and regional experts such as David and Calum are essential to our ongoing success and market leadership. We are delighted to add such top notch players to our team and look forward to extend our success on the continent."

David Aminzade has more than 30 years experience in the telecom and IT industry. Prior to Tufin, he spent almost eight years evangelizing Check Point Software's cellular firewall offering, which became the leading cellular firewall worldwide, adopted as a standard by Nokia, Siemens and T Systems and in conjunction with the GSMA, helped lead to the first IPv6 implementations. Previously to joining Check Point David was European Vice President for Xcellenet and Insignia Solutions, two companies involved in mobile and remote access solutions. David is a qualified Industrial Engineer, has a Full Technological Certificate in Digital Electronics and a Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing from the University of Greenwich.

"Certainly, budgets are tight, but the simplicity of our value proposition has been one of our greatest strengths," said David Aminzade, Regional Director, Northern Europe. "We save security operations teams' time and money by automating network security policy management - a process that was a nightmare to do manually and is a core component of regulations such as PCI DSS. I'm delighted to be a part of the Tufin team and look forward to our continued success in Northern Europe."

Calum MacLeod is Tufin's Regional Manager for Benelux, France and South Africa. With more than 30 years of expertise in secure networking technologies, MacLeod brings deep domain expertise and a wealth of long standing business relationships to Tufin.Prior to joining Tufin, Calum worked at Cyber-Ark Software as Director of Business Development, where he was responsible for developing their business in Privileged Identity Management in Western Europe and Africa. Prior to Cyber Ark he has worked with several companies in the development and launching of new technologies such as SSL VPN and PKI. MacLeod has also served as an independent consultant to corporate and government clients on IT security strategy for various European market segments, including the European Commission.

"These days everyone is looking to do more with less, and Tufin products help them to do that," said MacLeod. "Any administrator who has had to manually audit a firewall rule base knows how painful that can be. Despite tough economic times, Benelux, France and South Africa are rich with opportunity for us, and I look forward to helping the community of security managers I have worked with for the past 20 years reduce the time, cost and heartburn associated with network security audits."
