Terrorist threat report presented at ASIS 2008.

HMS : 10 March, 2008  (Company News)
HMS focuses on anti-terrorism and assessment of vulnerability to key installations in its presentation at this year's ASIS conference in Barcelona.
HMS is showcasing a range of its key counter-terrorism products and services at the seventh European security conference, ASIS 2008 taking place in Barcelona from 13-16 April.

At the conference, HMS will focus on presenting its exclusive monthly Foresight report. Foresight provides a continually updated evaluation of the terrorist threat to core business sectors such as transport, oil & gas and hospitality. The report gives companies additional insight into the current situation enabling them to better prepare their responses to the emerging, existing and potential threat. Foresight is supported by HMS's Corporate Consulting team who provide unrivalled critical infrastructure protection (CIP) advice and threat and vulnerability studies to the commercial sector. These complementary services mean organisations are best informed to set in place processes to protect their assets from the effects of global terrorism.

In addition to Foresight, HMS will introduce delegates to its Threat and Vulnerability Assessments and Counter-Terrorist Security Reviews. Both products have been designed to enable organisations to identify vulnerabilities and thereby improve preparations in anticipation of a terrorist attack. Through surveys, studies and HMS's unparalleled expertise, companies can ensure cost-effective business continuity by making informed decisions about the actual threat they face.

Andy Green, managing director of HMS, explains: "We have been developing counter-terrorism services for many years and have built up a tremendous bank of expert knowledge surrounding the threat and its implication for commercial organisations. ASIS will allow us the opportunity to showcase our groundbreaking products and foster key relationships with the European security sector."
