Teneros distribution partnership takes hold of European business continuity market

Reseller recruitment and training programme underway for Europe as Teneros enters the market for e-mail back up and business continuity systems
Teneros has announced that its newly signed UK/EU market partnership with ETC and Interchange - two of the distribution brands of Specialist Computer Holdings ADD (SCH) is already getting traction in the market. ETC/Interchange have already signed reseller agreements with and are training 10 new resellers for Teneros' market leading application continuity appliances for high availability and disaster recovery of Microsoft Exchange.

Since the partnership was inked at the end of March 2008, ETC's marketing initiatives have generated a backlog of resellers wanting to offer Teneros' appliances that provide local high availability and remote disaster recovery for 24/7 email continuity. With the telemarketing efforts reaching more than 3000 businesses in the UK, ETC now has a queue of over 100 resellers lining up to receive training for the Teneros Application Continuity Appliances for Microsoft Exchange.

Email system downtime creates major headaches for many companies, directly impacting business operations, revenue generation, customer service, and employee productivity. Analysts estimate that two-thirds of all companies worldwide use Microsoft Exchange for their email, and even a few hours of downtime a year can cost businesses dearly both in terms of revenue and employee productivity costs. In addition, existing solutions for ensuring Microsoft Exchange uptime involve IT staff conducting a multi-vendor science project to install and setup and then performing time-consuming regular maintenance. Teneros offers a comprehensive, single-vendor solution, deployed as a remotely managed appliance that makes it easy for companies to assure 24x7 Exchange continuity.

Teneros already has several high profile customers in the UK including the Royal College of Physicians, London.
