Technical certification for Tufin channel partners

Tufin Technologies : 09 September, 2009  (Company News)
Enhancements to partner program including Tufin Certified Security Expert training and certification program reflects increased commitment to the channel from Tufin Technologies
Tufin Technologies, the award-winning provider of Security Lifecycle Management solutions, has announced strategic enhancements to its channel partner program to keep up and reflect the spike in demand from customers and partners alike. The launch of the Tufin Certified Security Expert (TCSE) world-wide training and certification program coupled with the introduction of a new two-tiered channel structure increase the ability of Tufin's channel partners to capitalize on the lucrative market opportunity for Security Lifecycle Management solutions while positioning the company to maintain its growth and enable partners to more proactively and independently sell and support Tufin products.

"The turbulent economy has created a business environment based on trusted relationships and incremental expansion - conditions that play out extremely well in the channel, " said Ariel Avitan, manager, Information Security Research, EMEA at Frost & Sullivan. "I've been watching the firewall management space grow at an extremely rapid pace over the past few years. As the market leader, and with an executive team sharing a common background that equates market leadership with an indirect sales model, Tufin is well positioned to capture the significant revenue opportunity offered by the channel."

With a global channel network of more than 140 partners, Tufin has a very active channel framework that includes leading distributors and resellers such as Computerlinks, Cadre, Forsythe, Integralis, and Dimension Data. The channel has helped build Tufin's customer roster of more than 375 companies, which includes household names in finance, telecom, pharmaceutical, transportation, energy and technology.

In order to provide partners with the product expertise to help them capitalize on the significant market opportunity, Tufin has launched the Tufin Certified Security Expert (TCSE) program.

TCSE is a technical training and certification program designed to provide channel partners with the knowledge required to introduce, integrate and support customers on the full depth and breadth of Tufin's products and the significant operational, compliance and security benefits that come from automating firewall and network operations.

The program consists of a one day, hands-on training. The first series of TCSE trainings will be held at various locations in major European and U.S. cities from September through November 2009. Upon completion, participants will receive a TCSE certificate highlighting their expertise. The full schedule outlining TCSE training dates and locations can be found on the Tufin website.

"When it comes to following through on its commitments to the channel, Tufin is one company that consistently walks its talk," Nick Garlick, Managing Director, Nebulas Security. "Its new TCSE certification program provides channel partners with the knowledge and resources to demonstrate the significant Return on Investment that accompanies automating policy management of firewalls and other network devices. The firewall and network management market is growing rapidly, yet Tufin has kept a laser-like focus on its partners, enabling us to get more leads, more business and technical support, and more high-margin deals."

Tufin's new tiered channel designation system consists of two levels - Gold and Silver, each level tailored to provide the right blend of incentives, sales enablement tools and technical training to accelerate and increase partner success.

"Our channel strategy is simple yet robust - create a strong win-win equation where our partners share the vision we have for the Security Lifecycle Management market space and position them to successfully execute." said Shaul Efraim, vice president of Products, Marketing and Business Development, Tufin Technologies ' Our channel partners have been critical to our ability to understand and respond to market trends. We look forward to working with them to maintain our thought and market leadership in 2010 and beyond. Our part in that equation is to deliver the right mixture of products, business and technical support to win more business together."
