Pagemark has announced a new document security product called "Pelta". Pelta is a software solution that fits within the Managed Print Services objective of enhancing functionality by adding security and "track and trace" capabilities within document workflows systems. The system employs innovative barcode technology and uses the camera on ubiquitous smart phones as a document authenticity tool.
The Pelta system allows office workers to use standard office applications to easily embedded security features to high value document. The system works with both electronic and hardcopy documents.
