Chipdrive is continuing its UK marketing push with launch of new website and recruitment drive. |

Chipdrive has launched a recruitment drive to build up its network of dealers covering the UK and Ireland . A new UK-domain website has been commissioned to support the sales and marketing channels. In addition to product information and software downloads, the website provides contact details and a list of current distribution partners and dealers
Chipdrive uses innovative smart card reader technology for a range of solutions in time recording, security authentication, home banking and e-commerce. Developed by SCM Microsystems in Germany, to meet the highly progressive requirements of its home market, these solutions have now been translated and branded as part of a global marketing initiative.
Commenting on the launch of Chipdrive into the UK, Andi Robinson said: "From its previous experience in supplying white box products into the UK, SCM Microsystems has recognised the potential opportunities for an off-the-shelf range of products aimed at small businesses.
"Secure authentication is relevant to mobile workers and professionals requiring access into national or enterprise wide database networks. Chipdrive provides an entry level solution for recording time and the allocation of working hours. New products aimed at improving personal security are on the way. These will be of interest to retail outlets specialising in consumer technology products."
